The Emerald Lass

You don’t need to know me too well to know that I’m a bit of a girly girl. That means I’m more likely to be found in a frilly dress or tulle skirt than anything else.

I also wouldn’t be The Emerald lass if I wasn’t all about my greens. No, not the ones on my dinner plate.😬 I love almost every shade of green there is out there but Emerald remains my fave. Such a rich and vibrant shade, what a gem!

Summer may be packing up its bags but that’s not about to stop me from going for gold, (well, green) in this Topshop wrap dress. I love the lady-like appeal of dresses. In a wrap dress, you can’t be anything short of a lady. I’m not usually one to favor low necklines so this was a little out of my comfort zone. But I love that it’s low but not revealing and I hope I still managed to pull off a classy, demure look whilst adding a bit of sass.If you’re worried about being weather appropriate, throw on a pair of tights or fishnets, add a pretty cardigan or a blazer and Bob’s your uncle!😀 To compliment the dress, I paired it with my pink ASOS pumps and added my green fur box bag from Mango.

Wedding season is here and that only means one thing; you need outfits to stand out in! Continue reading What I wore last summer

Summer vibes

imageIn a recent conversation with someone, the most talked about topic in England came up. No, I’m not referring to Brexit, but rather the weather. 😁 (I’m sure you all have your opinions on Brexit and the aftermath but we’ll leave the politics out for today.) According to this friend,  for him, summer officially starts once Wimbledon begins. Wimbledon is now in full swing so I say…let’s get this (summer) party started. Continue reading Summer vibes
