Happy weekend lovelies. Hope you’ve having a good one.I’ve just returned from an amazing holiday in Croatia/Montenegro and still in a bit of a lazy mode.🙈 I’ve missed posting on the blog so I thought I’d do a quick post, sharing my weekend look, perfect for the Indian summer London is experiencing today. At a street festival in the East German city of Potsdam many years ago, a group of young German lads sauntered past me, muttering to each other and just as they walked past, one of them spoke loud enough for me to hear, “Hey schwarze Perle”. I stopped in my tracks. Continue reading Schwarze Perle
Princess brides are so in. Not that they were ever out. No, I don’t mean another Kate Midleton. Princess wedding dress style is a classic for brides across the world and appears to have become increasingly popular this year but what about the “princess wedding guest”(as I like to call it)? This outgoing season has seen the rise of gingham. I was sharing with a friend recently about how I don’t feel pressured to follow trends. I’m not saying I’m immune to them but neither am I slave to them. Continue reading Gingham style

They say you never know what you have until it’s gone. This certainly is true of myself and my relationship with the beautiful island of Ireland. Continue reading Colour popping in the Midlands
I’m still perplexed by how the last 365 days has flown by so quickly. I almost feel dazed that it’s my birthday again as it feels like the last one was just a few months ago. More than anything though, is the feeling of gratitude. Simply just very grateful to be here celebrating life again. It’s going to be a busy day so this will be a very short post. But I wanted to thank you all who follow this blog for your continued support and love. The next year is going to be an exciting one in many ways and I hope you’ll stick around as we continue this journey together. It’ll be one of continued self discovery but also breaking new borders and unchartered paths. The road ahead doesn’t promise it’ll be easy but certainly will be worth it.
I’m off to celebrate the day with some of nearest and dearest.😀💃🏽🎉 Enjoy your weekend and I do promise to be back very shortly.
Lots of love,
The Emerald Lass.xoxo
