Do It Your Own Way

Happy Friday guys. 🙂 The (long) weekend is round the corner again…the sun is shining (mostly), happy days. Today’s look is a casual look for some Friday/weekend inspiration. As much as I like to dress up, I also do enjoying dressing down at the weekend.  But no one said off duty had to be dull or boring.

imageimageThis white tee, black leather-like leggings sealed with a pink blazer ensemble is perfect for both day time and night time. Whether you’re going shopping or heading to the cinema or even out for a few drinks, it’ll work for that “I-just-threw-this-on-I’m-not-really-trying” look. Lol. To be fair, it is quite effortless like that. It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of slogan tee’s. It’s a way of self expression as well as a fun way of infusing my personality into my style. I love this particular River Island slogan t shirt as not only does it have a cheeky message of “Do It Your Own Way” scribbled across the front,  it’s got black sequins embellished on the front too that makes it a little bit more dressier than a simple t-shirt. It’s sold out but RI have a number of similar ones like thisimage image

I’ve never been a fan of leggings as I don’t think overly snug items are for me or suits my small frame but I branched out of my comfort zone with this faux leather pair. The leather-ish pair from River Island feel and look more like trousers than leggings. Sadly, the leggings are also currently sold out.:-( You can get similar ones here. My Misguided black sandals add that further edge whilst my pink River Island blazer seals the look with a classy touch and adds a pop of colour. There’s just something about the ability of a well tailored blazer to complete a look.

Hope you like the overall look. Enjoy the long weekend.
